MTR Fleet Services (MTRFS) President and CEO is Jason Martin. Jason’s early background is in the residential construction industry he learned from his father. After high school and some college, he enlisted in the U.S. ARMY and was trained as a light and heavy wheel truck (diesel) mechanic. During his service, he learned how to repair and maintain trucks and equipment, served on two continents and earned the rank of sergeant along the way. After his promotion, he learned the management end of the business running the motor pool, tracking repairs and preventive maintenance, working within a budget and managing people. The term the Army uses, “operational readiness,” is the foundation on which MTRFS is built.

After his time in the military, Jason worked for a truck leasing company, a truck engine company and a truck dealership. He married the love of his life, Christy, and then in 2003 started Martin’s Truck Repair.

Martin’s Truck Repair started with a service truck and small shop in Cumming, Ga. In 2008, at the onset of the “Great Recession” and against the advice of friends, Jason purchased the facility MTRFS is in now and never looked back. Using the initials from Martin’s Truck Repair, Jason rebranded the business to MTR Fleet Services to reflect the clients and customers it serves through the trucking industry.

Jason constantly invests in his company, in training for his techs and management, diagnostic and repair software, shop equipment, service trucks and best practices for the industry. Jason understands the value of operational readiness for his clients and customers. It means trucks that stay on the road longer and generate more revenue without breaking down.
